A FASHIONABLE PRODUCT FOR EVERY USE
Fur promotion is primarily carried out in Europe by two co-ordinating organisations and is aimed at different target groups. On the one hand, fur is promoted by the trade to support wholesalers and retailers who sell the finished product. On the other hand the producer also promotes fur thanks to contributions from European fur farmers, who sell their pelts via the auction houses. This support has enabled various new possible applications for fur to be developed.
Now, more than before, world famous, or promising young talented, fashion designers and clothing manufacturers are featuring fur as an integral part of their collections. They have discovered new ways of using fur, introducing a new feeling of modernity, whilst re-inforcing fur’s unique ability to add texture and glamour.
